Mmmm! a new blog.

Although this weblog is brand-spanking-new, I had two previously and loved each of them. They were journals for other parts of My life though, and this one is tailor made just for the parts of My life that pertain to professional Domination, My sex life, philosophies on Domination/submission, My personal experiences with it... and the usual blog-like musings on life, art, nature, and probably politics. Feels good to be settling into a new blog!

This morning I am sitting on the white wool shag-rug I call My office, answering the phone and email inquiries from submissives and drinking coffee. The maple tree outside My window is slowly dropping leaves. Although fall here is nothing like it was in the North East U.S. where I grew up, it is certainly more autumnal than California. (I recently relocated to Seattle from CA.) Fall is My favorite season. It never fails to fill me with a kind of sweet-sad nostalgia. For what, I do not know. For Me, the season has a harsh and feminine essence. I love to put My hair in loose braids in the fall, wear lipstick and large overcoats, and scuff about haughtily through leaves, engaging in heady conversation with friends and making cynical jokes. It is a good season for reminiscing with friends over a warming shot of whisky, and getting lost in telling stories about memories and people far away or no longer here.
